The 826CHI Associate Board welcomes Kevin Coval, founder of Louder Than a Bomb: The Chicago Youth Poetry Festival and the artistic director of Young Chicago Authors, as the guest speaker at their fourth annual literary cocktail party fundraiser, Prologue, on Friday, June 9 from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the American Writers Museum (180 N. Michigan Avenue, Second Floor, Chicago, IL 60601).

Prologue guests will enjoy an evening of hors d'oeuvres,
an open bar, and a raffle of luxe prize packages while supporting 826CHI's
nonprofit creative writing and tutoring center.

Guests will mingle with Chicago's literati and be dazzled by the curious and wonderful stories created by student writers as young as first grade. Explore the newly opened American Writers Museum at this event of literary proportion while helping write the future of Chicago's youth.
